The Wine Bar

Tucked into the bottom end of Wandsworth Bridge Road, close to the bridge itself, Kenrick's Wine Bar has become something of a Fulham institution. Run by Anglo-French wine merchant Kenrick Bush, who brings over 25 years' experience from Paris and stints at Oddbins, Harrods and Le Repaire de Bacchus, the shop focuses on wines you won't stumble across in the supermarket aisle.

Bottles are organised by flavour rather than region, making it easy to wander into lesser-known corners of the wine world and the ethos throughout is one of approachability over pretension — good drinking for everyone, not just the initiated.

Alongside a well-chosen list of orange, natural, and organic wines, there's a strong showing of craft beers, ciders, and spirits, many sourced from small, ethically-minded producers. With regular tastings (plenty of them free), a loyal neighbourhood following and a genuinely warm, community feel, Kenrick's is as much a local gathering spot as it is a place to pick up your next bottle.
