Come and join Josh from Field & Orchard at Kenrick's Wines, where he will be guiding you through the world of Fine Cider.

Long gone are the days of 2 litres of carbonated apple juice for £1.50 and regretting it for the rest of your life. Underneath the noses of some of the most discerning drink enthusiasts, Cider is stealthily taking huge leaps into to the world of fine wine and away from the cider of university freshers week or underage drinking in parks.

With a fresh take, and a gentle, passionate cultivation, English ciders are being re-modelled as gastronomical tipples, low ABV alternatives for picnics or BBQs, some fermentation practices are using champagne yeast to create elegant petillant pomme for any event that requires something more special.

But don't take our word for it, take Josh's from Field & Orchard, our local cider expert. He'll be guiding you through the world of Fine Cider, with 4 pours complete with a cheese pairing, wonderfully demonstrating how these styles of ciders can work with food.
